Kommunikation, Note: 1,0, Universität Erfurt (Kommunikationswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Internationale Kommunikation und politische Kommunikation im internationalen Vergleich, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Um die medienökologische Perspektive zu extrahieren, werden in der folgenden Arbeit zunächst die Begriffe Medium und Ökologie in der medienökologischen Denk- und Forschungsweise verortet und mit ihren biologischen Pendants verglichen. Im nachfolgenden Teil wird die Verschmelzung der beiden - die Medienökologie - anhand ihrer essenziellen Perspektiven vorgestellt. Eine exemplarische Auseinandersetzung in Bezug auf die Verwendung der Medienökologie in der Empirie sowie Kurzeinschätzungen innerhalb der Abschnitte runden den ersten Teil ab. Der zweite Teil befasst sich - vor dem Hintergrundwissen des ersten Bereiches - mit der Entwicklung der Medienökologie in den Vereinigten Staaten und in Deutschland. Er verortet die bereits vorgestellten medienökologischen Gedanken und bietet einen Rahmen zur Kontextualisierung. Auch verwandte oder ähnliche Konzepte werden hier gebündelt angesprochen. Die Analyse wird durch eine Beurteilung der Medienökologie für die wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung sowie ein Fazit abgerundet. Welche Fragen ergeben sich also für die Arbeit? Da sie keinen eigenen empirischen Anteil enthält, sollen auch keine expliziten Forschungsfragen formuliert werden. Statt dessen stelle ich Leitfragen auf, die sich durch die Arbeit ziehen und durch entsprechende Reflexionen beantwortet oder hinterfragt werden. Was ist Medienökologie? Aus welchen Teilen besteht der Begriff? Welche Grundannahmen liegen ihm zu Grunde? Welche Ziele können mit der Medienökologie verfolgt werden? Welche Entwicklungen und Ursachen sind mit dem medienökologischen Gedanken verbunden? Welche wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen liegen ihr nahe? Welche Weiterentwicklungen oder Synonyme hat sie
