Es wird auf die Fragestellung eingegangen, inwieweit sich die menschliche Motivation und Motivationstheorien im Allgemeinen auf den Erfolgsfaktor Mitarbeitermotivation auswirken. Zu Beginn der Seminararbeit wird auf die Grundlagen der menschlichen Motivation eingegangen. Im ersten Unterkapitel erfolgt eine Definition über "Motive". Dieses Kapitel dient auch dazu, den Zweck der Motive zu erörtern. Das Kapitel schließt mit der Beschreibung der zwei Arten von Motivation ab. Nachfolgend wird der Erfolgsfaktor der Mitarbeitermotivation dargestellt und der Frage nachgegangen, wieso dieser relevant ist. Das nächste Kapitel geht zuerst auf Motivationstheorien im Allgemeinen und deren Klassifikation ein. Hierdurch entsteht ein besseres Verständnis, welche Unterschiede es bei den einzelnen Motivationstheorien zu beachten gilt. Nachdem die Motivationstheorien beschrieben wurden, werden exemplarisch drei spezifische Theorien (Bedürfnishierarchie nach Maslow, McClellands Motivtheorie und die Selbstbestimmungstheorie von Deci und Ryan) näher erläutert. Zum Abschluss des Kapitels erfolgt ein Vergleich zwischen den beiden Kategorien der Motivationstheorien sowie den drei exemplarisch ausgesuchten Motivationstheorien untereinander. Im letzten inhaltlichen Kapitel geht es um die empirische Evidenz der Mitarbeitermotivation anhand von Mitarbeiterbefragungen unter Berücksichtigung der Motivationstheorien. Das Fazit fasst die wichtigsten Aspekte der Seminararbeit zusammen. Der Autor will mit seiner Seminararbeit zum einen darlegen, welche Effekte durch ein korrektes Anwenden der Motivationstheorien hervorgerufen werden können, zum anderen aber auch das hier ein hohes Maß an Kommunikation er
