Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Geschichte Europa - Deutschland - 1848, Kaiserreich, Imperialismus, Note: 1,7, Technische Universität Dresden (Institut für Soziologie), Veranstaltung: Militärsoziologie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Das Feld der realen Tätigkeit für die Armee ist der Krieg; ihre Entwicklung aber, ihre Gewöhnung und ihr längstes Leben fallen in den Frieden." "Nicht so sehr jenen Patriotismus liebe ich, der unsere Söhne auf das Schlachtfeld jagt und sie dort sterben lässt, sondern jenen, der für das Vaterland leben lehrt" Das erste Zitat illustriert, wie sehr das Zivile und das Militärische miteinander verbunden sind, ja wie sehr beide Bereiche - welche verschiedener kaum sein könnten - sich gegenseitig determinieren und in der Vergangenheit sogar in einen Bellizismus ganzer Nationen mündeten. In meiner Hausarbeit werde ich darstellen, inwiefern das Militär und das Militärische sich innerhalb der europäischen Gesellschaften etablierten und in einem Militarismus resultierten. Das zweite Zitat soll deutlich machen, dass Sendungsbewusstsein gleich welcher Ideologie, als Aktivierungskraft für das gigantische Gewalt- und Zerstörungspotenzial eines ganzen Volkes essentiell ist, für jegliche propagandistische Mobilisierung. Wie stark beide angesprochenen Patriotismen für eine solche Entwicklung nutzbar, als auch notwendig sind und welches Reservoir an Triebkräften sie bei entsprechender "Werbung" freisetzen können, soll ebenfalls Gegenstand meiner Hausarbeit sein. About the Author: Dipl. Soz. Ralph Paschwitz, geb. am 17.07. 1982 in Spremberg, studierte zwischen 2004 und 2011 Soziologie, Sozialpädagogik und Neuere und Neueste Geschichte an der Technischen Universität Dresden. Während seiner akademischen Ausbildung arbeitete er u. a. bei der WBS TRAINING AG und in den USA beim Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington. Die Schwerpunkte seines Studiums lagen sowohl in der Makro- als auch der Mikrosoziologie und der Demografie. Den Abschluss zahlreicher Essays, Haus- und Seminararbeiten bildet momentan seine Diplomarbeit mit dem Titel: Demografischer Wandel: Über die Rolle älterer Erwerbspersonen auf dem zukünftigen Arbeitsmarkt und die Nachhaltigkeit ihres Arbeitspotentials.
