The death of a child is devastating blow to the heart of a parent. When that event occurs before birth, or shortly after, we are left blind-sighted by grief. About the Author: Michelle L. Myers BIO Ever since she was a child, Michelle dreamed of writing books, composing music and having a career in radio/television and film. It began in 1990 when she was crowned Miss Bethany, Oklahoma. Later in 1994, she was crowned Miss Black Austin, Texas (Metroplex). She attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma 1990-92 and Huston-Tillotson, in Austin, Texas 1992-93. She double majored in English and Pre-Med with an emphasis on Physics. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Science placed her on the official ballot for the Grammys in 2006 for Song of the Year (co-writer) and Best Gospel Song (co-writer). The following year she was nominated for Record of the Year (co-writer) and Song of the Year (co-writer). She has published 12 books including autobiography, miscarriage, chronic pain, allegory and fiction. Michelle has also composed 4 CD's of soundtrack and classical music. Received certifications in the following fields: Pastoral Care Volunteer Training, Crisis Management Training, Healing Touch Certification, Disaster Psychology Crisis Management and is currently completing her State license for Therapeutic Touch Practitioner. Currently she does several ministries, one that includes: Prophesy Like a Girl, radio broadcast. Its purpose is to guide, support and encourages women in exploring their feminine voice in today's ever changing society. Finally, she is a single mother of seven precious children who daily bring her joy, purpose and love. She managers their bands, Luke 1940 and Promise Boys.
