In diesem Zusammenhang finden deshalb die Begriffe Physical World Connection und Internet der Dinge häufig Anwendung. Neben einer grundlegenden Einordnung dieser Begrifflichkeiten werden in diesem Buch vor allem die technischen Aspekte des Mobile Tagging, wie Barcode-Symbologien, Barcode-Syntax und Datenformate untersucht. About the Author: Marvin Hegen wurde 1984 in Offenbach am Main geboren. Sein Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Julius-Maximilian-Universität Würzburg schloss der Autor im Jahr 2009 mit dem akademischen Grad des Diploms erfolgreich ab. Seit 2009 promoviert er an der Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main am Lehrstuhl für Mobile Business und Multiliterale Security. Im Rahmen seiner Tätigkeit als Geschäftsführer von Tagnition, dem führenden Mobile Tagging Dienstleister Deutschlands, veröffentlichte er verschiedene Artikel über das Mobile Tagging und gründete den ersten deutschsprachigen Blog zu diesem Thema. Motiviert durch die Vision der Physical World Connection und dem Internet der Dinge beschäftigt er sich seit mehreren Jahren intensiv mit Mobile Business, 2D-Codes und der Verknüpfung der realen Welt mit dem Internet auf nationalen und internationalen Märkten.
