Later, she worked as an attorney in Nashville, Tennessee. Pam began her career with FedEx Corporation in 1992 as a Labor and Employment attorney. Subsequently, she was promoted to the positions of Senior Employment Litigation attorney, Managing Director of Labor and Employment Law, and Vice President Human Resource Services and Diversity. Nine of her 15 years with the company involved working in challenging leadership roles where she was required to speak to many organizations within and outside the company. Pam left her successful career with FedEx Corporation in 2007 to pursue her passion regarding personal financial literacy. To demonstrate her commitment to financial literacy, Pam completed courses necessary to become a financial planner and passed the national certified financial planner examination. Pam is using this knowledge to make a difference in the area of financial literacy. She is an impassioned advocate of financial literacy for all. Pam graduated from Vanderbilt University with an engineering degree and she received her law degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar, Society of Human Resource Management, the Memphis Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development, Toastmasters International, the Tennessee Chapter of the National Speakers Association, as well as the Memphis Chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
