Die sich daraus ergebenden Fragen lauten wie folgt: "Welche Maßnahmen des Vorgesetzten unterstützen die MA im Homeoffice?" "Welche Elemente motivieren die MA im Homeoffice?" und "Was bewirkt eine erhöhte Motivation im HO?" Innerhalb dieses Rahmens werden die Rollen, die Manager spielen, und die Auswirkungen, die verschiedene Arten von Messgrößen auf das Motivationsniveau der Mitarbeiter haben, die Hauptschwer-punkte der nachfolgenden Forschung sein. Die Führungskräfte stehen vor einer Reihe von Herausforderungen, von denen eine darin besteht, sicherzustellen, dass die Mitarbeiter, die von zu Hause aus arbeiten, das gleiche oder sogar ein höheres Produktivitätsniveau erreichen, damit das Unternehmen trotz der durch die Wirtschaft auferlegten Einschränkungen weiterhin auf dem Markt tätig sein kann. Aus diesem Grund werden die Motivationsvariablen sowohl in der Theorie als auch in der Praxis berücksichtigt, um die Wirksamkeit und Anwendbarkeit der verschiedenen möglichen Unterstützungsmaßnahmen, die der Vorgesetzte anbieten kann, zu untersuchen. Darüber hinaus ist es wichtig, sich Gedanken darüber zu machen, welche Auswirkungen die Förderung der Motivation eines Mitarbeiters im Homeoffice hat und wie eine Führungskraft dafür sorgen kann, dass diese Motivation erhalten bleibt. Mit Hilfe der anschließenden qualitativen Forschung soll der Einfluss des Managements und der Abläufe auf die Motivation der Mitarbeiter untersucht und bewertet werden.
