About the Author: Yadwinder Kumar is presently working as a senior assistant professor, department of electronics and communication engineering, Yadavindra College of Engineering (COE), Punjabi University, India. He has taught courses including antenna and wave propagation, microwave engineering, analog communication, circuit theory, microwave integrated circuits, antenna system engineering, computer networks, and optical communication system at the undergraduate and graduate level. His areas of research interest include antenna design and microelectronics. He has published research papers in journals and conferences.

He has published papers in reputed journals like IEEE Antenna and Wireless Propagation Letters, Springer Wireless Personal Communication, IET Antenna, and Propagation, IET Electronics Letters, Elsevier International Journal of Electronics and Communications, Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications (Taylor and Francis), and Wiley's Microwave and Optical Technology Letters. He is a member of the IEEE society and MTT society. His research interests include ultrawideband (UWB) antennas, reconfigurable antenna, MIMO antenna, SIW antenna, wireless body area network (WBAN), specific absorption ratio (SAR), energy harvesting, cognitive radio, signal modulation/demodulation techniques, MIMO/OFDM system, and Ad-hoc network. He has taught courses including electromagnetic field theory, microwave & radar theory, analysis of digital communication techniques, microprocessors and microcontrollers, network analysis, and synthesis, and signals and systems at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Balwinder Raj is currently working as an associate professor, department of electronics and communications engineering, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR) Chandigarh, India. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. He has published 70 research papers in journals of national and international repute. His areas of interest include novel semiconductor devices, classical/Non-Classical nanoscale devices modeling, ultra-low power VLSI/ULSI design and technology, nanoscale memory design, digital VLSI circuit design, and reconfigurable FPGA implementation.
