About the Author: Jamie New Johnson is an artist manager, founder of the top online music business resource SmartBandManagement.com, mentor/educator, and author from Toronto, Canada. Since 2009 Jamie has worked in the music business in varying capacities for non-profit music associations, educational associations, music conferences and festivals, record labels, editorial media publications, booking agencies, publishing companies, artist management companies, and for independent artists.
