About the Book

The Musician's Path covers the most critical factors to consider for those wanting to develop their skill as a musician. Offering strategies and insights that affect real results while remaining approachable to players who have had no formal instruction. Besides offering effective how-to strategies developed over Gordon's 40+ years as a musician, Gordon attempts to dispel many false premises in learning music, and discusses the factors that had the biggest impact on his growth as a musician. The Musician's Path at it's core is an overview of evolving as a musician, from concepts that affect the learning process, how to select and work with teachers, and effective organized practice routines that produce dramatic results. There's something for all but the most schooled players.
