About the Book

Take a journey into the disjointed world of Betts Keating as she tells her story from the set of her Movie Memoir Screenplay Novel. From the height of her sensational arrival in New York City to her painful fall into a grief induced darkness, Betts weaves an unexpected narrative of humor and tragedy worthy of any memoir. Both funny and dark this story covers a multitude of topics: debilitating injuries... relocation adventures... the reluctant embrace of all things domestic... financial distress... bug infestations... a crisis of faith... a child with a major medical condition... and tiny pink bathrooms... to name a few. Grab your popcorn, find a comfortable chair and get ready to read/watch the story unfold.
About the Author: Betts (no, it's not short for anything) Keating currently resides in South Carolina with her husband and 2 daughters. A proud former New Yorker, who originally grew up in the South, Betts perpetually tries to figure out exactly where she "lives." In a former life, she worked full-time as a graphic designer in various ad agencies and publishing companies in NYC. In this life, she is learning how to balance her work as a freelance graphic designer with her starring role in the long-running series of motherhood. She enjoys watching TV, watching movies and watching movies on TV. Occasionally she will also read a book. This is her first attempt at writing a movie memoir screenplay novel and probably her last. Now that her story has been told she hopes to move on to other fun interests like watching more TV, reading more books... and maybe finding something else to write about. Anything else you might want to know about her will probably be answered in the pages of her new book. Follow Betts online at www.bettskeating.com.
