Dies wurde besonders durch die weltweite Coronapandemie und die damit einhergehende große Belastung in deutschen Krankenhäusern sichtbar. Trotz scheinbarem Abklingen der Pandemie wird aktuell in den Medien beinahe täglich über Themen wie den Pflegekräftemangel, fehlendes Fachpersonal auf Intensiv- oder Kinderstationen und Bettenschließungen berichtet. Das Problem des Personalmangels und die große Fluktuation von Fachkräften beschränkt sich jedoch nicht allein auf die stationäre Pflege. Ambulante Pflegedienste sind ebenso vom bestehendem Fachkräftemangel betroffen. Prognosen zeigen auf, dass im Jahre 2035 rund 307 000 Pflegekräfte in Deutschland fehlen werden. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, das Gesundheitsverhalten von Pflegekräften zu analysieren sowie aufzuzeigen, wie betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung (BGF), in Pflegeberufen gesundheitsförderlich eingesetzt werden kann. Die Pflegekräfte sollen im Idealfall ihr gesamtes Berufsleben lang, bei voller Gesundheit dem Arbeitsmarkt zur Verfügung stehen. Die Leitfrage der Arbeit lautet wie folgt: Wie kann BGF zu einer Steigerung des Gesundheitsverhaltens von Pflegekräften in Deutschland beitragen? Nach dem einleitenden Kapitel erfolgt zunächst eine Definition des Begriffs Gesundheit, um daraufhin die Begriffe Gesundheitsverhalten und (gesundheitliches) Risikoverhalten zu erläutern. Anschließend wird in Kapitel 3 das Gesundheitsverhalten von Pflegekräften im ambulanten und stationären Setting analysiert. Im weiteren Verlauf schließt sich das Kapitel "Betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung in der Pflege" an, welches sich mit den unterschiedlichen Maßnahmen der Verhältnis- und Verhaltensprävention und Herausforderungen im BGF für Pflegekräfte beschäf
