About the Author:

Prof. Dr. med. Peter J. Keel ist Facharzt und Titularprofessor für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie. Seine Schwerpunkte in der Lehre und Forschung sowie der eigenen Therapietätigkeit sind chronische Rückenschmerzen und Fibromyalgie. Mit Müdigkeit und Erschöpfung einhergehende Krankheitsbilder wie z. B. Burnout gehören ebenso zum Spektrum seiner langjährigen Tätigkeit und reichen Erfahrung, die er als Leitender Arzt der Psychiatrischen Universitätspoliklinik und später als Chefarzt der Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychosomatik am Bethesda-Spital Basel gesammelt hat und seit Herbst 2013 noch teilweise aus dem Ruhestand fortsetzt.
