Es müssen sehr komplexe Tätigkeiten aus den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen beherrscht werden. Auf die meisten Anforderungen wird die angehende Schulleitung in der Regel im Rahmen ihres Studium vorbereitet. Dennoch ist nicht davon auszugehen, dass die Einstellung neuer Mitarbeiter dazu gehört und die dafür notwendigen Kompetenzen erworben wurden. Durch das methodische Vorgehen des Vier-Komponenten-Instruktionsdesign-Modells (4CID) kann man diesem Problem begegnen. Die vorliegende Hausarbeit versucht anhand des Instructional Designs (kurz ID) einen Schulungsentwurf zu konzipieren, um die Kompetenz "als Leiterin einer Berufsschule eine Mitarbeiterstelle neu besetzen" in anderer Art zu vermitteln. Anwendung findet hierbei das von van Merriënboer und Kirschner in den 90igern entwickelte 4CID, welches durch die "Ten Steps to Complex Learning" zu einem Blueprint für die jeweilige Lernumgebung führt. Das 4CID besteht darin, die vier notwendigen Bestandteile für komplexes Lernen 1. Lernaufgaben (learning tasks), 2. unterstützende Informationen (supportive information), 3. Just-in-Time Informationen (JiT information) und 4. Üben von Teilaufgaben (Parttask practice) gemeinsam in einem Lehrplan-Entwurf miteinander in Verbindung zu setzen, um so praxisnahe und authentische Lernumgebungen gestalten zu können. Die vier Basiskompetenzen stehen in Wechselbeziehung zueinander und strukturieren den Lernprozess. Die Zielgruppe, in diesem Fall Leiterinnen von verschiedenen Bildungseinrichtungen, wird so in die Lage versetzt, mit den erworbenen Kompetenzen die Aufgabe "eine Mitarbeiterstelle neu besetzen" meistern zu können. Nach van Merriënboer ist es möglich, neuerworbenes Wissen auf unterschiedliche Anforderungen im Alltag anzuwenden.
