Being named Lizzy with the last name of Bennet was a coincidence, but this anecdote has marked her life since she was a child, since the moment she decided to let her behavior be guided by the moral code of the protagonist of Pride and Prejudice, the other Lizzy Bennet: honor, freedom, logic. But something must have gone very wrong, because at just thirty years old, those three principles have vanished: the press considers her a monster, the police persecute her, and she believes in nothing other than traversing the country and reaching San Cayetano, the capital of the south, where she must carry out her last mission before ending up behind bars. In the middle of her trip, a traffic accident throws her together with John, a guy who she dislikes instantly, and who she just wants to get rid of. Although that task will not be easy. John is determined to take back what is his, and to get it he will pursue her, if need be, until the ends of the earth. Thus, Lizzy embarks on a road trip through a magical country, with the police on her heels, and some bizarre traveling companions: Eve, in love with a man she does not know; Giacomo, who, like every year for the last fifty-three, has been searching for his beloved to spend a single night together in the moonlight; and Ana, who has decided to resume her life where she left it almost four decades ago. And of course John, because what begins as a matter of pride breaks down all her prejudices until he makes her understand what love really is. Roadside motels, nudist communes, therapy groups, lost lumber mills in the woods, and an uncertain destiny will unite them all under the magic of a song, just when they all must face their destiny.
About the Author: J. de la Rosa estudió Audiovisuales y empezó Periodismo. Ha obtenido los premios de novela Vergara (2019) y Titania (2014) y ha sido finalista de los Premios Literarios Amazon. Es miembro de la Romance Writers of America (RWA). Ha publicado quince novelas en total, entre románticas y thrillers, y dos manuales sobre técnicas de escritura.
