Ce livre raconte l'histoire d'une imposture, celle des trois castes qui ont gouverné la province pendant des décennies: la caste anglophone, la caste francophone et la caste oligarque . Ils ont pris ne otage la province, et un petit groupe de forces minoritaires invisibles et de réseaux transversaux obscurs travaillent pour la droite ou la gauche au pouvoir. Ils travaillent pour leurs rêves et leurs ambitions. Ils n'aiment pas travailler pour les pauvres, mais ils adorent travailler pour les riches. Ils ne sont pas en contact avec les gens et ne se soucient pas de les connaître car leurs intérêts passent avant tout. Ils sont coincés dans des modes de pensée et des valeurs archaïques. Ce sont des technocrates à la pensée lilliputienne . Cette mascarade est aussi typique de la plupart de nos élites politiques qui ont échoués et la plupart de nos élites acadiennes qui ont trahi notre langue et notre identité. Nos élites ne parlent que de politiquement correct. Ils ont peur de prononcer des mots qui ont du sens et passent leur temps à tourner autour du pot. Le Nouveau-Brunswick est un gros organisme malade dont aucune partie ne fonctionne correctement. Toutes les couches de la société sont en lambeaux: le système de santé ne fonctionne pas comme il le devrait, l'économie est toujours à plat, le pouvoir d'achat n'est jamais à la hauteur, les inégalités ne cessent de se creuser entre riches et pauvres, il y a une crise environnementale, un chômage de masse, immigration, etc. La méfiance des citoyens envers nos institutions et le système de gouvernance en dit long sur l'état réel de la province. Il faut une remise à plat de la province pour évoluer dans une nouvelle direction consensuelle et acceptable pour le peuple. Les gens, qu'ils soient ruraux ou urbains, doivent nous dire ce qu'ils attendent de leur État. Nous avons besoin d'un dialogue constructif au niveau: régional, territorial et provincial. Nous avons besoin d'une nouvelle façon de vivre ensemble, ce qui signifie un nouveau contrat social. Redistribuez les emplois et les répartir sur l'ensemble de la province, et c'est ainsi que nous créerons la richesse qui assurera la croissance de notre nation.
