About the Book

Writing this book is a way to show positive ways to move forward in life. The intent for this project is to highlight the importance of 'living' life to the fullest and not letting life live you. I want readers to start exploring ways to live a fulfilling life regardless of circumstance or life position. This book can be viewed as steps within the journey to start living life and seek the possibilities we may have overlooked in the past. I think this project can be helpful to others to start or change course in their personal journey.
About the Author: Author, educator, trainer and consultant, Calvin retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years as a Human Resources data analyst, Certified Master Instructor, supervisor and mentor. He earned his Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Counseling/Human Relations from Liberty University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with Capella University. Calvin has served as a Career Specialist in the Counseling and Career Center at Macon State College. He has also worked with government civilian employees as a Guidance Counselor at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Calvin currently serves as a Psychology adjunct instructor with Gordon College in Georgia and Axia College of the University of Phoenix. He is an active volunteer in the local community. Calvin's educational and professional backgrounds have allowed him to meet and interact with a diverse population. Academic work in Psychology and Counseling were completed because of his desire to understand and help people from all walks of life. Professional work as a counselor, adjunct instructor, and military training instructor has allowed him to put his academic work to good use helping people meet their personal, professional and educational goals. Writing this book was a way to continue to show others positive ways to move forward in life. The intent for this project is to highlight the importance of 'living' life to the fullest and not letting life live you. Calvin is currently working on his first book of poetry and topics to help readers find 'focus' in life.
