Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Geschichte Europa - Deutschland - Nationalsozialismus, II. Weltkrieg, Note: 1,7, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die nationalsozialistische Bewegung stützte sich bis Juni 1934 auf zwei Pfeiler, zum einen die Sturmabteilung (SA) und zum anderen auf das politische Konzept der NSDAP. Sie gestalteten ein Gefüge, das erst durch Adolf Hitler als Oberster SA-Führer und Parteiführer zur NS-Bewegung verbunden wurde. Die SA trug beim Aufstieg der NSDAP, von einer bedeutungslosen Splitterpartei zu einer Massenbewegung eine entscheidende Rolle, als Werkzeug für Propaganda und Terroraktionen, wie es bis dato in der Weimarer Republik nicht bekannt war. Gleichzeitig zeigte sich die SA für das NS-Regime als eine wachsende Bedrohung, da die Neigung zu Gewaltakten die legale Machtergreifung Hitlers bezweifeln ließ. Nach der Ernennung Hitlers zum deutschen Reichskanzler am 30. Januar 1933 bestand die SA aus mehreren Millionen Mitgliedern, die Forderungen bezüglich ihrer finanziellen Absicherung an den NS-Staat richteten. Diesen Ansprüchen wurde das neue Regime nur mangelhaft gerecht und die SA-Führerschaft, ehemalige Freikorps und Soldaten, strebten eigene politische und militärische Ziele an und gefährdeten damit das Machtgefüge in Nazi-Deutschland. Die Ereignisse am 30. Juni 1934 beendeten letztlich die Losung zweite Revolution. Die Geschichte der SA ist bereits vielfach erforscht worden. Hierzu sind die Abhandlungen "Die Mobilmachung der Gewalt" von Wolfgang Sauer, das Werk "Hitler und die SA" des ehemaligen SA-Führers Heinrich Bennecke, weiterhin "Stormtroopers. A Social, Economic and Ideological Analysis" von Conan Fischer sowie "Die braunen Bataillone" von Peter Longerich zu erwähnen. Aus diesem Grunde stützt sich die Arbeit auf einen Großteil dieser Publikationen. Als Hauptanliegen dieser Hausarbeit soll anhand der Geschichte der Sturmabteilung der Fragestellung nachge
