About the Author: Jan Hartmann wurde 1982 in Würzburg geboren. Nach seiner Berufsausbildung zum Mechatroniker, entschied sich der Autor, seine fachlichen Qualifikationen durch ein Studium des Wirtschaftsingenieurwesens weiter auszubauen. Das Studium an der Hochschule Aschaffenburg schloss er im Jahre 2009 erfolgreich ab. Bereits während des Studiums sammelte Herr Hartmann umfassende praktische Erfahrungen in der Logistik und Produktionstechnik. Schon immer interessierte er sich hier, wie man die Vorteile der Globalisierung in den Bereichen eines Unternehmens nutzen könne. Vor allem Osteuropa, wo der Autor auch Zeit in Form eines Auslandssemesters verbrachte, faszinierte ihn hier sehr.
