Though certainly not new, not since the late 30's to mid 40's in central Europe, has Asymmetric Warfare been used so effectively to tear down institutions, traditions, perceptions of governance, government, laws, fundamentals of law and order, belief in the constitution, respect for decency, honor, principals, the press or just plain Common Sense, rights of people, pluralism of people, beliefs or backgrounds, freedom of speech, expression, and peaceful means of protesting, schools, school boards, voting, voting boards, voting norms and traditions, counting of votes, certification of votes and compilation and verification of votes. In short, numerous asymmetric techniques are being used to take down and completely destroy our Democracy - while we all sit by and watch - at first in awe, then disbelief leading to - far to late - the horror of what has already irreversibly happened to destroy our precious Democracy.

Just as there is no such word that can be defined as "negotiation" with a despot that has surrounded your country with 200,000 troops, with tanks, rocket launchers, a complete air force of fighters and bombers and a vast network of cyber war specialists - there is also no such word for dealing with faux militias, hundreds of faux law suits against school board members, voting board members, legitimate demonstrators, authors of books, music or movies that become "considered to be controversial" or counter to someone's sensitivities. Nor can it be considered a "negotiation" when you send a MOB of several thousand medieval combatants into the sacred halls of our Capitol - the root of our Democracy - to commit Treason by violent Insurrection to overturn our Democratic form of government! No, these are the most serious forms of Asymmetric Warfare used against a - perhaps sadly under informed - population to destroy a Democracy and a serious way of life - slowly, deceptively, like a very slow "train wreck" playing out before all of us over a four year period of time. This was essentially the same pattern of the "train wreck" that was used to take over the Democratic form of government in Germany between 1935 to 1945.

We have all seen this happening over that period of time, but tried to believe what we saw was just the result of personality quirks of the person that happened to occupy the White House from 2017 to 2021. In reality, these quirks were all part of a well developed plan to disguise a myriad of Asymmetric Warfare tactics from the view of even trained observers of Tyranny.

It is so sad that our present government is spending far less time on combating this certain downfall of our Nation than it is working on trying to keep Russia from destroying the Democracy of Ukraine - a country thousands of miles from us. Don't get me wrong, it is worth trying to do something to prevent Russia from taking over Ukraine, but it is 10,000 times more important to stop the take over of our own government by internal forces Hell bent upon destroying America. We need to get out of our Kumbaya attitude towards those working every second of 24/7 to destroy us and start throwing some A--s in jail NOW!
