About the Author: A Chicago native, wife, mother, and student, author LuCretia Crump has a deep-seated passion for all forms of writing and self-expression. Inspired and fueled by the writing of Gwendolyn Brooks, Crump has penned a poetic novel that touches upon every area of life while providing uplifting and inspirational views on love, overcoming social barriers, and the power of hope.
Crump is currently pursuing her BA in creative writing and has had her first poem, "You Touched Me," published in The National Library of Poetry.
