About the Book

The thoughts and writings of gods and monsters have long been involved in the history of human kind with a great deal of Biblical history being proven by science on almost a daily basis. In as much as the Bible is being proven, Greek, Egyptian and other mythologies are also finding credence in the scope of possible alien foundations or might those be of angels and demons? I am not one to dismiss any of it as, in my opinion, the writing of the Bible has been perverted by men that wanted to use it to control the masses. Much of it has been destroyed and much is finally coming to light as fact. While the Bible is being proven, the myths and legends of previous civilizations are considered to be false without any real examination. But so much of our stories handed down through the ages are actually based in facts long forgotten. We really should explore them more deeply.

This is an allegory of sorts that examines the 'what if' aspect of everything having some foundation in truth and reality and the possibility of it all being related. What if it is all more than we give it credit? My studies of the Bible and science have proven to me that they both are correct and coincide completely and unquestionably. My earnest belief is that those that argue against this point are simply afraid of the actual facts and the implications of such a universe. What if the Norse gods were somehow real in some respect we have yet to discover? What if the Pyramids were landing pads for alien ships or sources of electrical generation as some are now suggesting? What if it is all interrelated? Who are we to be so arrogant and narcissistic to believe that there are not multiple lines of thought that actually converge to create the reality in which we live, but none of us really understand? Why can't we question why?

This fiction/fantasy revolves around many of the gods of Greece and Egypt with a smattering of references to Biblical history and fact. Why not? Theologians will likely claim I've bastardized the gospels but you know what? Like Ricky Gervais, "I don't care." I think there is room to consider that the apocrypha should be reincorporated into the biblical text. Lillith of the apocrypha might just shed light on certain aspects of Eden, Earth, Heaven and Hell. I think that there is room to consider that the gods of Olympus and the gods of the pyramids of Egypt might actually have existed in some form at some time and that we as a race of pompous fools are unable to cope with the reality of the supernatural that is documented and laid before us. With Quarks flashing in and out of existence, is it so unlikely?

In this novel, Zeus, Danaë, Persæus and Achilles have a close-knit relationship with many actors bringing problems, solutions and comedic relief into their intertwining lives. Persæus tames the demons in his soul that Zeus gives him as a possible blessing depending on how he addresses them and treats them. They become his friends and mentors and at times, they give Zeus reason to shake his head at having given them life in his son, three persons in one. From the realization of his own existence to the complex relationships of everyday life, it is a journey of discovery and friendship that has no competition in the literary world and is unlike anything you have ever read before. It is fun, so romantic at a point toward the end, as to bring one to tears, adventurous and quite heroic in places and exceedingly thought provoking.

You'll never read anything like it as it moves you from fighting for survival to loving everyone around you and appreciating the complex relationships some of us have in loving those around us. The gods we put above us in our everyday lives and the factual information you may have never before considered. I challenge you to enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
