About the Author: Linda Horton was a California State licensed Private Investigator, specializing in insurance fraud, for 30 years, and a California state credentialed Adult Ed teacher for 10 years. In the mid-eighties she realized the life-long dream of authorship when she began publishing fiction and non-fiction articles in local and national newspapers and magazines. She now has three prior novels based on true stories, and one Inspirational non-fiction. She has taught many adult professionals how to write for publication. Her other passions are playing the 5 string banjo and the piano. But the most important things in her life are God, her children and 3 grandchildren.
