About the Author Dr. Varsha Hemant Borgaonkar, M. Com, M. Phil and PhD is working as an Associate Professor in Manghanmal Udharam College of Commerce, Pimpri-Pune. She has over 34 years of teaching experience in academia. She has participated, published and presented papers in International, National and State level conferences and seminars. She is also a resource person for workshops in communication and personality development. Her core areas are Cost and Works Accounting and Business Mathematics and Statistics. She has authored a textbook on Business Mathematics and Statistics for F.Y.B Com and Business Communication for S.Y.BCom, Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has also translated a book on Cost and Works Accountancy for T.Y.B Com from Marathi to English of YCMOU, Nasik. The book is all about organized retailing in two important segments viz; Food & Grocery and Apparel & Clothing. This book presents a conceptual and practical framework for understanding Organised Retailing.
