About the Book

Anna Maria Comstock has experienced more sadness in her eight years than most children do in their whole lives. She is confined to one room of a large mansion owned by her parents. Her mother wants nothing to do with her and mother controls how much time father can spend with his beloved daughter. Anna dreams of a different life where she is loved and is able to love in return. One night in January a deadly fire took the lives of her parents and left Anna an orphan. Anna did not know of any family to take her in. The newspaper article was brought to the attention of Lineal Comstock, brother of Anna's father. He and his wife decide to bring Anna into their family. Anna was finally in a place where she was loved and free to experience the love that she had always dreamed about. She began a love affair with the sea and what it represented in her life. She was totally mesmerized by the movement and life of the sea. As she became an adult she had decided that the life of the light keeper was the life for her and she attended the Coast Guard Academy. There she met her future husband who shared her passion for the sea.
About the Author: In just one year's time, I have been able to write and illustrate seven books for children and youth. It all started when my sister asked me to illustrate a book for her. Then we decided to start our own business. Two Sisters Publications, LLC became the impetus to create books. Sara even went to Ireland and England to obtain information for a book she is working on now. This revision of one of my earlier books, A NEW HOME FOR ANNA is a better, longer, more interesting story.
