In questa indagine, è stato sviluppato un approccio efficace basato sulla regressione lineare multivariabile e sul metodo dei raggi X per determinare le condizioni ottimali che portano a una porosità minima nelle fusioni in lega di alluminio AlSi9Cu3. I risultati sperimentali, utilizzando l'array ortogonale Taguchi L27, sono stati utilizzati per mappare la relazione tra i parametri di processo e la formazione di porosità nella parte pressofusa e per studiare il comportamento del carico di rottura di vari livelli di formazione di porosità nel processo di pressofusione ad alta pressione (HPDC). In questa indagine sono stati utilizzati una macchina automatica TBC di capacità 500, una macchina per il carico di rottura Zwick di capacità 250 kN, una macchina industriale a raggi X Bosello ad alta tecnologia e sono stati studiati il confronto tra i parametri di processo precedenti e quelli successivi all'ottimizzazione dei parametri di processo e i relativi risultati. La porosità più bassa è stata rilevata dopo l'ottimizzazione dei parametri di processo, ovvero il livello 1, alla temperatura del forno di 690 ˚C, alla temperatura dello stampo di 190 ˚C, alla velocità dello stantuffo al primo stadio di 0,18 m/s, alla velocità dello stantuffo al secondo stadio di 2,6 m/s e alla pressione del terzo stadio di 280 bar. Il carico di rottura è passato da 8,43 kN a 19,83 kN e da 14,0 kN a 26,0 kN.
