The last few years have been cruel. Between 2020 and 2022, the world saw its population fall ill. Covid-19 came as a pandemic that lasted for a while. Vaccines were developed quickly, and the population gradually began to feel safer. This escalated in 2022, when a super vaccine that would prevent Covid-19 infection and other diseases was developed. A new versatile, powerful, as well as incredible, and too good to be true vaccine. When the super vaccine was launched, the entire world fought for it.
Even though no one was sure where it came from, the advertisements were such that everyone started craving it. Social media promoted it as the miracle of the century. It would boost the immune system to the point of creating a defense shield that no disease would ever break. The vaccine was named "FIREWALL", and it promised the same protective function as those programs or equipments we know from computers, but in our bodies. The headlines used to say it could prevent even cancer. Everywhere from Facebook to Instagram or Twitter Trending Topics, paper or digital billboards, everyone craved that small miracle.

The logistics operation for the distribution was so great that all countries received it very quickly. The poor, the rich, the famous, the anonymous. The world was healed from all diseases.
The death rates of all diseases in the world began to decrease, and for a few months, the miracle seemed real. But in fact, the miracle lasted very little, and what seemed to be controlled and healing suddenly turned into chaos. All around the world, cases began to emerge. Just as there were no filters for the miracles, there were no filters for their side effects either. The whole world fell ill, and quickly all the diseases that had been avoided for months made a comeback, but stronger: more overwhelming and more cruel versions of the original ones.
When everything began to darken, people finally sought to know the origins of the miracle, but it was already too late. Its history had been erased, and that world miracle became the greatest mystery of mankind. The company that had created the vaccine no longer existed, nor did the professionals who worked there. Distributors then reported that all the costs had already been paid by the same company that was simply wiped off the face of the Earth. The technology behind it was unknown, as well as many of its components. The miraculous healings then turned into a race against time to fight all types of diseases, which were now even stronger.
What no one knew was that the worst was yet to come. The vaccine had not only strengthened diseases, but it had given them the chance to dominate the bodies they lived in, and to develop and create a virus as powerful as their mutations. A virus that decimated the life of 99% of the population after the Covid-19 pandemic. The problem was that it did not just kill people. It transformed them, it could bring them back to life.
Within six months, the population fell ill, died, and then rose again...
Finally, the famous apocalypse of transformation had arrived in a new world where "zombies" would probably be the least of our problems.
