About the Author: MIRANDA LEE TOZIER-ROBBINS, a Christian Baptist Democrat, was born in Lawton, OK. Her sisters are Marcie Leigh Dyer, Amber and Crystal Tozier-Robbins, and Mary Stevenson. She has 3 brothers. Her mother now retired, was in the military and Miranda changed schools often. Papa was too. Miranda is the 1999 2nd place recipient of the George R. Wallace Citizenship Award. In 2002 she received her first college degree and by the end of the same year successfully completed Basic Combat Training for the United States Military. In 2004 Miranda successfully completed one of two semesters for the Walt Disney World College Program in Orlando, Florida. She is also a 2X American Idol round 3 (judges' round) contestant. Miranda had many jobs including at McDonald's, Wendy's, KFC, Market Basket, and Tikki Tikki. She's also been a cab driver, factory and construction worker. Her hobbies include watching television, listening to music, and playing video games. She loves horror films. Miranda played different sports to gain an experience in as many things as she could in the short time she'd be in middle and high school including soccer, wrestling, and basketball. Her favorite is track & field. She is a Capricorn. Miranda likes to indulge in a collective game of chess and has passion for the Poker tables. She desires to enter the WSOP. Andy Sawyer is one inspiration to her filmmaking career. Making something out of nothing. Independent film-making at its' finest. Her most recent jobs were travelling with various carnival shows working both rides and games. Miranda wants world peace. She is an adversary of prejudice, ignorance, bigotry, and illiteracy. With the success of the book Miss Tozier-Robbins hopes to purchase her own film equipment and extend the portfolio of Shorty Productions Ltd., being an inspiration to us all.
