About the Book

There are no perfect children as there are no perfect parents. The role of every parent is to understand the child and bring him or her up accordingly. Parenting never ends. Some grown up people still need parenting counsel. Every growing person needs elderly and discerning words of wisdom. Subordinates at work are as children to their bosses. Every badly behaved child should be corrected by any adult present at the scene. Until at death, every responsible adult needs parenting information updates. The concluding words are: "since parenting never ends, resources as this should be made available to concerned and responsible adults". Development of a whole child starts from the womb. The way babies hold the breast and suckle, look at their mother's faces, and cry reveal a lot about their personalities. Observant mothers read through the clear eyes and understand the stories they tell. The way they crawl, stand, toddle and what catch their interest are worthy of note. As babies are miniature adults, they also have the tendency to develop positive or negative characters. With keen interest in discovering the child, parents can observe their strengths and weaknesses early and use to develop them in the right direction. A whole child is that child that is properly brought up by the parents and other team members to have adequate information to solve problems in every area of life. Success is enhanced through the complementary efforts of parents and teachers. Most people dislike to read volumes of resources, even when they contain useful information. For this reason, this hand book is made convenient for parents to read and obtain information for daily use. More volumes will be added gradually to provide parenting hints for interested parents.BOOK EXCERPTS: This book has hints on parenting infants and young children. The contents are general issues that can sometimes be taken for granted. Unfortunately, these overlooked issues are critical in the development of infants and young children. This is the most important level of parenting because parenting season is early and the foundation determines the follow up phases and their successes. Parents must be alert to assist in vision, speech, movements and thought orientation of the infant. It is worthy of note that though babies have their innate abilities, they still should be guided aright. This is the best age to mold them straight. Parental involvements should be based on understanding and acquiring knowledge of children's inclination, needs and expectations, to avoid leading them to confusion. Sometimes parents have to regress to the level of children as listed below to understand their parenting needs: -Playing games with them and providing variety of educative toys to use in discovering them;-Reading books for them, watching learning videos with them, and visiting places with them to develop creative and critical thinking abilities;-Spending time with them to help them to plan and organize their time; -Engaging in discussions with the bigger children to help discover them through questions and answer sessions;Spending quality time with infants and young children helps to establish good and strong foundation that will veer them off negative behaviors that will ruin their chances in future. Every minute spent to develop a child positively is rewarding and precious. A mistake made in a minute of a parents' absence can cause a generation to correct. It is worthy to enrich most parent's-children's interactions with priceless values. Parents should note negative behaviour in children and correct them promptly. Children practice what they experience at home. Modelling good character is more effective than teaching alone. Showing love develops children with kind and human heart to others; even to care for parents at old age. Teach communication and problem solving skills to make them socially accepted by friends and others and also to be effective as leaders --
