About the Book

About the book: The story of two academic minds discovering love through shared passion for literature, "The Professor's Passion" is a brilliant addition to the romance genre. Written by Wrightless Smalls, this book highlights that love decides its own fate. People who start off at the wrong footing, and dislike each other very much, can discover affection for each other. The two protagonists of the story are Antonia Laurens, the professor of romantic literature at Manchester University, and Parker Naman, who is a recent addition in the same department of the same university. The two develop a sort of rivalry in their professional field while working on a project of their own. What starts off as a work related road trip turns into a truly romantic journey of two souls finding each other. Summary of the book: Antonia was always the studious type. So, it was only natural that she would choose a career in the field of academia. Although her love of literature has remained intact, a lot about her changed over the years. She has started coming out of her shell with the support of her bestie. She has even started taking care of her looks! A beautiful woman, Antonia manages to turn heads everywhere she goes. But her beauty and charm often gets in the way of people comprehending her brilliant mind. To make a mark in the male-dominated line of work, Antonia delves deep into work to find the anonymous author of a book of romantic poetry. Parker Naman, on the other hand, has always had the reputation of being rogue, a lone wolf. He started his career as an anthropologist and historian. Later he accidentally discovered his love of romantic literature when going through old poems by some of the best romantic poets. There was no looking back from there! He joined as an underdog in the academic community, and started working as a romantics professor in the Manchester University. A man of real talent, Parker hates that his more experienced colleagues think they are above him. To prove his dominance and credibility, Parker takes up a new project. Coincidentally, he was also trying to discover the anonymous poet of the same book of poetry that Antonia was working on. Both of them are after glory, but only one can find it. Both of them think the other is wrong about their discoveries. And, they start working on their own separate ways. However, as fate would have it, they keep bumping into each other. After a casual hangout at a local pub, both of them discover that they have a lot in common. When they could not fight the attraction anymore, they started working together. To their surprise, they were great as a team. The bliss would last a short while. A dubious phone call throws Parker into the state of jealousy and anger. He doubts is alliance with Antonia. What happens? Do they confess their love for each other? Or, do they part ways because of a misunderstanding? Read the book to find out! Order your copy to find out more!
