Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: Im 2.Quartal 2001 haben 34,2 Millionen Menschen, also knapp die Hälfte aller Deutschen (48,7%) Zugang zum Internet. Weit über die Hälfte von ihnen nutzt das Internet zur Stellensuche, weitaus mehr sind es bei den 20- bis 39-jährigen. Somit ist das Internet ein wichtiges Instrument der Personalbeschaffung. Die wichtigste Bewerberplattform ist das Internet gerade für qualifizierte Hochschulabsolventen und High Potentials aus den Bereichen Information und Kommunikation. Der Einsatz von Informationstechnologien spielt im Umgang mit potenziellen Bewerbern eine übergeordnete und extrem wichtige Rolle. Gerade dem Personalbereich kommt in diesem Prozess eine besondere Bedeutung zu mit seiner übergreifenden Koordinationsaufgabe. Letztendlich wird ein Unternehmen nicht nur Human Capital verlieren, wenn es effiziente Auswertungen und den effizienten Umgang mit Informationen nicht beherrscht. In dieser Diplomarbeit werden zuerst die Begriffe Personalbeschaffung, Personalmarketing und Internet erläutert und dann in Verbindung zueinander gebracht, außerdem wurde eine Befragung von Unternehmen durchgeführt, um die theoretischen Sachverhalte durch Erfahrungen aus der Praxis ergänzen zu können. Als nächstes soll dann auf das Back Office als vollständig integrierter Prozess eingegangen werden, denn wenn ein Unternehmen das Internet als Weg der Personalbeschaffung wählt, sollte es sich zuerst überlegen wie die Prozesse im Inneren zu gestalten sind, denn nur so kann dieser Weg langfristig Erfolge bringen. Der nächste Schritt ist die firmeneigene Homepage als Ausgangspunkt der Personalbeschaffung im Internet. Hier werden die einzelnen Kriterien erläutert, die für die Gestaltung einer eigenen Karriere-Seite im Internet beachtet werden sollten. Das Unternehmen hat durch interaktive Konzepte ganz unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten Personal zu rekrutieren, dies soll Thema des nächsten Kapitels sein.
