Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich BWL - Offline-Marketing und Online-Marketing, Note: 1,3, Hochschule Fresenius München, Veranstaltung: General Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht die Wirkung von Investitionen in Marketing-Technologie auf die Entwicklung des Kundenwerts und trifft Aussagen über Chancen und Risiken, sowie über die Auswirkung auf den Wert von Kundenbeziehungen. In diesem Zusammenhang wurden qualitative Experteninterviews mit Marketingverantwortlichen von B2C und B2B Unternehmen, sowie den Geschäftsführern von Marketingagenturen geführt. Sie wurden zu den Investitionen in Marketing-Technologie befragt und sollten Aussagen über die Auswirkungen auf den Wert ihrer Kundenbeziehungen treffen. Investitionen in Marketing-Technologien existieren bereits seit dem Moment, in dem die erste werbliche Email verschickt wurde. Mittlerweile existieren weit mehr als 8.000 Unternehmen, die als Kern ihrer Wirtschaftsleistung eine Marketing Technologie anbieten. Die Kombination des theoretischen Teils dieser Arbeit mit den durchgeführten Experteninterviews gibt an, dass Investitionen in Marketing Technologie in den letzten Jahren stark zugenommen haben. Trotz vorliegender Gesetze, die strenge Vorgaben in Bezug auf die Nutzung von Kundendaten machen, sowie der Möglichkeit, Kunden bei zu intensiver Personalisierung zu verärgern, ist die personalisierte Ansprache von Kunden unabdingbar, wenn eine Firma den Wert ihrer Kundenbeziehungen über den gesamten Kundenlebenszyklus maximieren möchte. Insbesondere Firmen mit direktem Zugang zum Endkunden sehen es als strategisch an, Kunden durch relevante Kommunikation immer wieder mit neuen Informationen zu versorgen und somit das Maximum aus der Kundenbeziehung herauszuholen.
