About the Book

"Aarbog 2015" er anden del i triaden af "Aarbog 2014", 15 og 16, der trefold belyser den kommende posthumanitet. Den fjerne nære fremtid mennesket "begynder at 'lego' Livets Byggesten", altså den frie leg med gener, biotech og psykotrop farmaka, for at skabe det forbedrede, optimerede, lykkeligere menneske: HOMO-version-II. 2015 Temaer: (i) (a) Gives en menneskelig essens? (b) Freud und das Unheimliche (c) Blodets baand og genetik . (ii) hiint kommende overmenneskes moralske forhold til det oprindelige, ringere, bedagede menneske. Men, når denne leg for alvor fænger an, når vi manipulerer med gudskaberens værk eller Darwins evolution - hvad er vi da egentlig i færd med? Og implicit, hvad risikerer vi? er de spørgsmål Aarbog 2015 tager livtag med i ulige vinkler af litteratur, kunst, film, filosofi og videnskab. Slig kartografi bringer "Centrale post- og transhumanistiske temaer til overfladen... Dybe problemstillinger som: Hvad vil det egentlig sige at være menneske versus det ikke at være menneske? Gives der en essens? en fast, absolut og uoverskridelig kerne, eller er homo en plastisk, dynamisk størrelse?" Det dykker vi ned i via H.C. Andersens eventyr Den lille Havfrue (1837). Hiin skønmø skifter nemlig gestalt, væsen og væren - som de hippe transhumanister i den fjerne nære fremtid, når de hoppe til HOMO-version-II, ad libido, ad libitum. "Den lille havfrue forbliver verliebt, verliert und verlockt i menneskehed og prinds, og forført - i en aura af Hvo ikke vover, ikke vinder - opsøger hun havhexen, datidens trolddomskraft ud i biotech og genetik. En handel indgås, og den uberørte jomfru bliver nu modificeret, transskriberet og translateret om til et væsen med to ben, to støtter - ergo et menneske, i jagten på det bedrede liv, lykken og længslers fylde." Nuvel, den posthumanistiske æra synes at svinge mellem utopi og dystopi; således oscillerer eventyret mellem lykke og ulykke. Det bringer stof til eftertanke. - Og endvidere, uhygge. About the Author: Le Berthélaine, Danish writer, critic and artist Scholar educated at the universities of Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen, Denmark. Le Berthélaine has conducted extensive studies in the field of medical science as well as the humanities, the liberal arts of aesthetics, literature and philosophy. And this cross-disciplinary fusion characterizes the poet`s sharp pen and inciting style. Fields of interests and core competences: - Medical Science - Literature - Aesthetics - Philosophy - the Soul and body problem - Existentialism - Post and transhumanism - Reality Political correctness is of no concern to Le Berthélaine; he has an ardent devotion for the free reflection and speech - la parole libre!
