About the Book

When crippled friendless twelve year old Andrew Yeager disobeys his father by going for a swim in an intriguing mountain pond, he discovers an eerie violet light pulsating up through the rocky bottom. Surrendering to an unbridled temptation, he extends a hand into the light only to find himself dragged into a terrifying phenomenon that will forever change his life...as well as the lives of all those he meets in the parallel world into which he awakens. Within twenty four hours of his arrival on this strange yet fascinating world, where science is the only religion and a totalitarian world government rules with heartless brutality, Andy and his three new friends find themselves catapulted into a frightening and perilous race against time to prevent an evil military group from misusing the time-warp portal through which Andy has entered their world, in a way that may well destroy all life on both their planets."
About the Author: As a world traveler, adventurer, actor and writer, Rodd Dana has lived what he refers to, as the most incredible 'dozen lives' anyone could have ever lived. He plans on living, travelling and writing until the last mountain has been climbed, and the last notes of his music have been played. A long time believer in the indefinable and certainly misunderstood laws of Karma, he is relentlessly driven not only to spin a good yarn, but is likewise compelled to insinuate into his stories subtle guides as to what might intend a happy or otherwise life. His ability to combine subtle teachings with fantasial suggestions, as well as indications of what could well be future possibilities for life on this beleaguered planet, promises an enjoyable read for youthful newcomers to the world of Science Fiction, as well as the most jaded of Sci-Fi aficionados.
In the following months he will have three new and intriguing stories on Create Space and Amazon Kindle, in both e-book and paperback versions, with more to follow.
He lives happily and healthfully with his wife and three cats, in a high-desert paradise in Southern Utah.
