This is why humanity as a rule imagines the concept of god to be in existence somewhere outside of ourselves. There is however, another facet of our personalities that lies so deeply embedded within us that we are completely unaware of its existence. This is the inner consciousness that few of us can fathom. It is the desires and beliefs that reside here, in this inner consciousness that we are so unaware of, that actually creates the reality that we see outside of ourselves. It is this "disconnect" that we must overcome. The "disconnect" is so sudden and complete that most people are unable to make the connection and bridge the gap for the entire duration of their lives. But for those who are randomly blessed to even momentarily glimpse the connection, for them, it becomes a tantalizingly difficult goal to achieve, yet difficult to ignore. Once achieved, however, your life is blessed and powerful. You suddenly feel like there is a powerful force within your life that has the capability to effortlessly and unerringly lead you to your every desire like a super magnet that can never fail.
About the Author: Derek Godfrey was born and raised in post-independent India. He comes from a lineage of English servicemen who made India their home during the 150 years or so of British administrative presence in the country. His father saw active service with the Royal Air Force during the 2nd World War years in places such as Burma, Singapore and Indonesia. He is a dedicated student of that mysterious, but otherwise ubiquitous quality of consciousness that is better known as life. He enjoys a strong passion for living life by design and believes that each one of us is not alone and purposeless in this world. We are networked with each other from being linked to the great field of sub-conscious intelligence that lies sleeping within each of us. A deeply spiritual christian, he does not blindly subscribe to the many myths of organized religion. He believes that spirituality is that great unfathomable network of supreme intelligence that unites us all.
