He joined Concordia in August 2010 and has been the Concordia University Research Chair (CURC) - in Building Airflow and Thermal Management. He earned the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, in 2007. He then worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the Indoor Air Quality and Ventilation Group, Building and Fire Research Laboratory (BFRL) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA.

Dr. Wang is a voting member and vice-chair of the TC 4.10 - Indoor Environmental Modeling of ASHRAE and the editorial member of the International Journal of Energy and Buildings (Sectional Editor); Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics; Journal of Building Simulation. Dr. Wang is the recipient of the 2013 Best Paper Award from Building and Environment and the BFRL Distinguished Associate Award of the US NIST. His work on air curtains has contributed directly to the associated International Energy Conservation Codes (IECC), Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA), and ASHRAE 189.1 and 90.1 codes and standards. Dr. Wang has over 100 scholarly publications in journals, conferences, and technical reports. His current research focuses on building ventilation and air quality, heat and mass transfer in buildings, urban building energy modeling, urban microclimate, and zero energy building technologies.

Dr. Ge is a full professor in the Department of Building, Civil, and Environmental Engineering at Concordia University. She holds a Tier II Concordia University Research Chair (CURC) in High Performance Building Envelope for Climate Resilient Buildings. Dr. Ge's expertise is building envelope and its performance characteristics. Her research includes laboratory testing, field monitoring and modeling of hygrothermal performance of building envelopes, quantifying wind-driven rain loads by field measurements and CFD modeling, energy-efficient and durable housing for Canadian North. Her current research focuses on the effect of climate change on whole building performance, i.e., thermal, energy, durability, and indoor environment, and developing innovative, energy positive, and climate resilient building envelope solutions for carbon neutral buildings under future climates. She has published over 140 technical papers in peer-reviewed journal and conference proceedings and has trained over 60 HQPs of all levels.

Dr. Ge is a registered professional engineer and a member of ASHRAE. She is the chair of TC 4.4 ASHRAE Handbook subcommittee and a lead revisor of ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals Ch. 26, a co-coordinator and member of CIB Task Group 97 "Nature-based Solutions for Climate Resilient Buildings and Communities," and a member of Technical Committee of CSA 478-S478 "Durability in Buildings." She is a member of the editorial board of "International Journal of Building Physics" and "Journal of Architectural Science Review" and a guest editor of a special issue for Buildings-"Nature-based solutions for carbon neutral climate resilient buildings and communities." Dr. Ge has also served as a member of Scientific Committee for numerous International Conferences in Building Physics/Building Engineering and as an external expert reviewer for national and international grant competitions.

Dr. John Zhai is a professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering (CEAE) at University of Colorado at Boulder (UCB). He has a unique and integrated background in both Mechanical and Architectural Engineering with an Engineering Doctor degree in Fluid Mechanics (Tsinghua University, 1999) and a Ph.D. in Building Technology (MIT, 2003). His primary research and teaching interests are in green buildings, sustainable urban development, and indoor/outdoor air quality, particularly atmosphere pollutant sources.

Dr. Zhai is a fellow of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ), and the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA).

Mohamed Ouf, Ph.D., P.Eng. is an assistant professor at Concordia University's Building, Civil, and Environmental Engineering Department. He is the principal investigator of the Intelligent Buildings and Cities Lab (IBCL) and is affiliated with Concordia's Centre for Zero Energy Building Studies (CZEBS) as well as the newly established Next-Generation Cities Institute (NGCI). His research focuses on using data-driven approaches to investigate occupant-building interactions at multiple scales, ranging from zone to building and up to urban-scales. As an early career researcher, he published over 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers and received several prestigious awards, such as the Best Paper Award at the 7th International Building Physics Conference.

Dr. Ouf is actively involved in several academic and professional organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian chapter of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA). He is also a member of the International Energy Agency, Energy in Buildings and Communities (IEA-EBC) Annex 79 on "Occupant-Centric Building Design and Operation," as well as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), multi-disciplinary task group on occupant behavior in buildings (MTG.OBB). Beside his involvement in these organizations, he is an active reviewer for multiple leading journals in the field and serves on the Editorial Board of ASHRAE's Science and Technology for the Built Environment Journal.

Dr. Dahai Qi is an assistant professor at Université de Sherbrooke in Building Engineering. He obtained his Ph.D. of Building Engineering in 2016. Dr. Qi focuses on the study of building safety and resilient cooling and heating technologies to mitigate the climate change impacts.
