About the Book

As per the definition of 'healthy' is concerned, both the well-being, mental as well as physical for an individual which is applicable for at any area, male or female, rich or poor. There are other issues like kidney & liver disorders. In the lists of lifestyles disorders or NCD, there are uncountable numbers of disorders but all are somehow curable by medicines, proper diet, follow up through physicians & periodic check up. Have we ever think and concern about our mental health. If there is a question then I would say, not often or not very seriously. Because of stress, the workload of office or business, or even so many tension due to family we all are somehow affected by psychological distress which finally leads to mental disorders or can say psychological distress. Of late, since 6 years of a child till 60 years of an old person, all are attacked by stress, depression, and anxiety. The reasons or cause may be different man to man but all are haunted by the disorders which at a certain time takes a typical shape as a 'psychological disorder or mental disorders or psychiatric diseases. As an author, I can make a list of 200 such horrible disorders which often seen in urban areas whether child or adult. Apart from counseling, various medicines following the treatment protocol with the help of drugs (medicines) as per pharmacopeias are regularly been used to cure the patients but the issues remain the same even after 2-3 years. The uses of medicines mainly allopathic medicines which are having tremendous contraindications like renal failure, cardiac or liver issues. Food rich in omega 3 fatty acids also helps to reduce anxiety. Asparagus is one vegetable that contains a valuable amount of mood-boosting nutrients. One cup alone provides two third of your daily RDA of folate. Vitamin B6 helps the body make several neurotransmitters, including serotonin (a mood controller). Avocados are rich in B vitamins especially B6 thus it is good for this situation.Foods rich in tryptophan used to help in having good sleep, a tryptophan-rich diet helps to reduce anxious feelings.Mostly turkey is good tryptophan-rich food. But lean turkey instead of fried chicken is always preferred.Almond is rich in magnesium, helps in improvement of anxiety-related disorders. Legumes, seeds are also a rich source of magnesium.Milk products like yogurt, fermented foods are helpful in reducing anxiety. Pickles, kombucha etc. are also helpful in reducing social anxiety. Foods Restricted or must avoid - Avoid taking fast food or junk food, Avoid intake of caffeine-contains. We must conclude with this statement
