If your child has experienced grief, parents divorce or massive change in their lives of any kind, then this book is an imaginative, funny, refreshing illustrated story to remind us that we are eternal, constantly changing and transforming. This book is a reminder to us all that we do not just simply die and disappear or live without purpose and that we chose to come here to practice love. This is a story about two super stardust souls who live in sparkling space.
Best friends Ganeezle Opply Dop and Tu Nopsi Curni are impeccable in every way. But in space there's a limit to how much playing you can do without arms or legs or a body for that matter.
So the curious duo start coming to Earth to peek at us. But like all good stardust gnomes, they do manage to get themselves into a little bit of mischief.
When they find a cucumber on Earth, they're not sure what to make of it. So they seek help from their intergalactic friends.
First off, there is Jordy Jo Jupiter who gives them cool facts but none which is actually very helpful.
Next, it's a quick trip to see Janet, the Pluto non-planet. She uses her extraordinary powers on the cucumber and managed to ruin everything... or did she?
Venus distributes her unique magic which results in Tu Nopsi's date with destiny.
It's time for Tu Nopsi's to make some soul decisions. Will she rebirth and go to Earth in the form of a human or stay where she is?
If you are not reading yet, you could ask a good reader to read this book to you. (20 min) But if I were you...
I would ask an adult very nicely to read this to you over and over again and they wouldn't mind one bit!
areyan
About the Author: Areyan was born in beautiful New Zealand and lives in her adopted country Australia with her daughter Hanna. Growing up, Areyan believed that super hero's came from somewhere out there, in space somewhere. She thought that if she was good girl or lucky, that a super hero would grant her all her dreams and wishes and that she would feel like she was enough. Over time, areyan discovered that super powers did exist but they didn't live "out there" in space somewhere. She learnt her powers existed inside of all of us and that we were born with them! Who knew? She was so excited about this discovery; she looked everywhere to find a story book to introduce this idea to little Hanna. Areyan couldn't find that book, so areyan wrote it and Laura illustrated it... perfectly
