About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A new novel by Juan Jose Millás: a story of love and revenge with all the literary clues distinct to the author.

As if it were an algorithm, she set up the following principles on which his future existence will be based: she will be a taxi driver, she will travel through the streets in Madrid, waiting for the chance to meet again with the man that she has fallen in love with; and all the important moments in her life will have as soundtrack the Nessum dorma by Turandot.

The mundane and the extraordinary are intertwined in this novel that has all the keys to Millas' narrative universe: irony, different facets of reality, unfolding of the self, solitude, and the confirmation of an absolute truth: the mirror in which we look at our lives, always gives us an unusual perspective of amazement.
