About the Book

Die Bachelorarbeit "Rapucation" beschäftigt sich mit der Herstellung einer neuartigen Lernhilfe für Schüler der 5. und 6. Klassen. Es wird eine CD produziert, die textlich Unterrichtsinhalte vermittelt, sich hinsichtlich des Sounds jedoch an aktuell erfolgreichen deutschsprachigen Rapproduktionen orientiert. Der durch die Rezeption des Tonträgers hervorgerufene Lerneffekt wird in einem Feldversuch mit knapp 700 Berliner Grundschülern auf seine Relevanz getestet. Zunächst wird geprüft, ob überhaupt öffentliches Interesse an einem derartigen Medium bestehen kann. Dazu erfolgt ein Überblick des Lehr- und Lernklimas an Berliner Schulen, um den öffentlichen Diskurs in Bezug auf die Berliner Bildungssituation zu erörtern. Im Anschluss dieser Betrachtung folgt eine Zusammenfassung der bestehenden didaktischen Modelle. Es wird erörtert, welche didaktischen Modelle für Grundschüler Anwendung finden bzw. inwieweit Lehrkräfte die Rapucation-CD im Unterricht einsetzen könnten. Der nächste Punkt der Gliederung beschäftigt sich mit vorhandenen gereimten Texten, die sich explizit an Schüler richten und/oder den Ansatz haben, Wissen zu vermitteln. Dabei werden das Phänomen der Eselsbrücken sowie ausgewählte Rapveröffentlichungen auf ihre Eigenheiten untersucht, um gegebenenfalls deren positive Merkmale in die Entwicklung des eigenen Tonträgers einfließen zu lassen. Auch die positiven Beispiele des Überblicks des Lehr- und Lernklimas an Berliner Schulen werden in der folgenden Beschreibung des Produktionsprozesses der Rapucation-CD hervorgehoben, um sich dabei an ihnen zu orientieren. Anschließend wird die Wahl der Zielgruppe erläutert und die Themenwahl der Songs begründet. Es folgen Informationen zum Verfassen der Songtexte sowie zur Musikproduktion. Der Ablauf des Feldversuchs wird detailliert beschrieben und dessen Ergebnisse auf ihre Gültigkeit und bezüglich der Validität der These analysiert.
