About the Book

If you like techno-thrillers and enjoy books by Clancy, Dale Brown, Coonts, DeFelice, Hunter, or Clive Cussler, then the Reaper Two-Six novels are for you. With fresh, plausible storylines that reflect the world of today, engaging characters, and state-of-the-art technology, the Reaper novels will allow you to experience the intensity, dedication, and skill required to keep the world a peaceful place to live. The threat of worldwide terrorism demands that governments around the globe spend more and more of their precious capital on the security of their citizens. The resulting economic impact cripples nations; they struggle to manage commerce, international trade, business growth, job creation, and tourism. The world economy is on the brink of collapse. Six years ago, in response to overwhelming international pressure, NATO+ creates the Global Defense Organization (GDO) with a singular purpose - fiercely fight worldwide terrorism. The hand-picked GDO leaders form Reaper Two-Six: an elite forty-eight member multinational covert squadron that monitors, infiltrates, and eliminates terrorist activities. The Reapers, as they're known, are all top military pilots from countries around the globe. Many having additional specialties - ground operations, snipers, communications, reconnaissance, and intelligence gathering. RAFCO, a highly trained and well-funded global terrorist group headquartered in the vast wilderness of the Colombian jungle, manages to steal a top-secret hypersonic stealth aircraft, the Aurora, from the controversial United States government installation, known as Area 51. The GDO, disbanded due to a targeted political witch-hunt nearly a year ago, is now re-enlisted by the President of the United States to help find the Aurora. This aircraft can surpass every known weapon and detection system on the face of the Earth. In the wrong hands, the Aurora poses not only a threat to humanity but to the very fabric of today's modern society. Now isolated, alone, and unconcerned for their own survival, two Reaper pilots risk everything to save the world from a global cataclysm.
About the Author: Robert's inspiration for the Reaper Two-Six series of novels came from his first love - flying. From a young age, airplanes secured a special place in his heart. After high school, Robert attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1988. Even though working on exciting F-15 projects at McDonnell Douglas was rewarding, his heart ached for the thrill and passion of piloting an aircraft. Finally, his dream came true when he earned a private pilots' license, giving him the pure enjoyment of commanding a Grumman Tiger Aircraft. During his 25 years in engineering, Robert worked for a number of aeronautical companies: McDonnell Douglas, Cirrus Design, NASA, Eaton and Pratt & Whitney. Supporting programs like the advanced F-15 design and testing, Space Shuttle flight path evaluation, ST-50 proof-of-concept design and testing, and jet engine overhaul and repair, Robert loved seeing the fruits of his labor take to the skies. As life in southeast Michigan changed, Robert took upon new career challenges; applying his diverse engineering background in the automotive industry. He spent the past 13 years involved with the design, development and testing of steering systems. Robert grew up within walking distance of Michigan stadium and loved to hear the roar of the crowd on football Saturdays. Even though life took him in different directions for college, Robert is still a big University of Michigan fan, with football and basketball being his favorite sports to watch. During his spare time, Robert enjoys gaming on his PC or PS3 along with website and Android App programming. Robert resides in South Lyon, Michigan with his beloved Carol and their Italian Greyhound dog Sofie. Both Robert and Carol enjoy watching Blu-ray movies in their home theater while relaxing in stadium-style seating and eating freshly made old-fashioned popcorn. Some of Robert's favorite movies include: The Hunt for Red October, Star Wars series, Star Trek Series, Top Gun, Aliens, Love Actually, Indiana Jones series and Contact.
