About the Author: Dr. Srikanta Patnaik is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SOA University, Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph.D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999 and supervised 12 Ph.D. theses and more than 30 M. Tech theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 60 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and edited 12 books and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publishers like Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc. Dr. Patnaik was the Principal Investigator of AICTE sponsored TAPTEC project "Building Cognition for Intelligent Robot" and UGC sponsored Major Research Project "Machine Learning and Perception using Cognition Methods". He is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and also Series Editor of Book Series on "Modeling and Optimization in Science and Technology" published from Springer, Germany.
John Wang is a professor in the Department of Information & Operations Management at Montclair State University, USA. Having received a scholarship award, he came to the USA and completed his PhD in operations research from Temple University. Due to his extraordinary contributions beyond a tenured full professor, Dr. Wang has been honored with a special range adjustment in 2006. He has published over 100 refereed papers and seven books. He has also developed several computer software programs based on his research findings. He is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Applied Management Science, International Journal of Operations Research and Information Systems, and International Journal of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. He is the Editor of Data Warehousing and Mining: Concepts, Methodologies, Tools, and Applications (six-volume) and the Editor of the Encyclopedia of Data Warehousing and Mining, 1st (two-volume) and 2nd (four-volume). His long-term research goal is on the synergy of operations research, data mining and cybernetics.


Zhengtao Yu received the Ph.D. degree in computer application technology from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2005., He is currently a Professor with the School of Information Engineering and Automation, Kunming University of Science and Technology, Kunming, China. His current research interests include natural language processing, question answering system, information retrieval, information extraction, machine learning, and machine translation.

Nilanjan Dey was born in Kolkata, India, in 1984. He received his B.Tech. degree inInformation Technology from West Bengal University of Technology in 2005, M.Tech.in Information Technology in 2011 from the same University and Ph.D. in digital image processing in 2015 from Jadavpur University, India.In 2011, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani, India followed by Bengal College of Engineering College, Durgapur, India in 2014. He is now employed as an Assistant Professor in Department of Information Technology, Techno India College of Technology, India. He is a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK. His research topic is signal processing, machine learning and information security.Dr. Dey is an Associate Editor of IEEE ACCESS and is currently the Editor in-Chief of the International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence. Series Co-editor of Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare (AUSAH), Elsevier and Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing (STNIC).
