Member of the Standing Netherlands Government Committee on Private

of the Netherlands to the Sessions and meetings of Special Commissions of the
Hague Conference on Private International Law (since 1986); chairman delegation
(since 1995); President of the 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st Sessions of the Hague Conference.

Olivier Corten, né en 1964 à Bruxelles, a fait des études de sciences sociales,
sciences politiques, droit et droit international à l'Université libre de Bruxelles
(ULB). C'est au sein de cette université qu'il enseigne depuis plus de vingt ans,
même s'il a également dispensé des cours dans d'autres universités, en France
(Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, 2006 et 2007; Aix-Marseille, 2007 et 2011), en
Espagne (Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, Valencia, 2008), en Italie
(Académie de droit européen de Florence, 1999), au Brésil (cours d'hiver organisés
par le Centro de Direito Internacional, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais,
Belorizonte, 2009), au Japon (Université de Kyoto, 2009) et en Belgique (Facultés
universitaires Saint-Louis, 2000-2001).
Il est également professeur ordinaire et directeur du Centre de droit international
de l'ULB, codirecteur de la Revue belge de droit international et de la collection
de droit international (Bruylant), et membre de l'Editorial Board of Oxford
Bibliography Online (International Law)

internationale de Justice, principalement dans les affaires du Différend frontalier
terrestre et maritime (Cameroun-Nigéria

Antonio R. Parra, born 7 May 1951 in Barcelona, Spain.
Currently Consultant, Corporate Secretariat, World Bank. From 1984 to 2005,
held positions at the World Bank Group as Counsel, World Bank; Senior Counsel,
World Bank; Senior Counsel, International Centre for Settlement of Investment
Disputes (ICSID); Legal Adviser, ICSID; and Deputy Secretary-General, ICSID.
Earlier positions include Assistant Legal Counsel, OPEC Fund for International
Development.
Honorary Secretary-General of the International Council for Commercial
Arbitration (Secretary-General from 2004 to 2010); Member, Editorial Advisory
Board, ICSID Review - Foreign Investment Law Journal (Editor in Chief from
2003 to 2007 and Managing Editor from 1986 to 2003); Member, Executive
Committee, Dubai International Arbitration Centre; Fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Arbitrators; Docteur en droit, University of Geneva.
