About the Book

Long after Earth has been ravaged by nuclear war, humanity survives, but for the people of Innerstadt, trouble is brewing. Their city, the last bastion of humanity in a desolate wasteland, is descending rapidly into chaos. The Awoken, a group of homicidal terrorists hell-bent on breaking free of their supposed bonds, are stepping up their game. While his brothers in arms are tied up in a losing war, Frank William Fasaro, a young officer in a dwindling police force, has no choice but to work the beat. When his patrol vehicle is requisitioned by Special Assignments, it's just the beginning of a very bad day. Plagued by recurring dreams, coping with serious questions about his past, he will soon learn that nothing is as it appears. He may not know it, but the clock is ticking. Will he find what he's looking for, or will it find him first?
About the Author: Michel Provost was born in 1980 in Woodstock, New-Brunswick. His family migrated to western Quebec when he was four and he still lives there with his son, Lugh, in an old shack in the woods. About halfway through high school, he decided to tack "Logue" onto his surname as he didn't think it was fair that his mother's maiden name should be forgotten to time. Having benefited from an entirely French education, he developed his English reading and writing skills through careful observation. He started writing THE REHAB in 1999, when he was just nineteen years old, though the book was called FRANKY THE ANGEL back then, and was written in a quicker pace. Life happened and the book was put on the back burner until a couple years ago, when he decided there'd never be a better time to finish what he'd started-during his long daily commutes on the city bus. Among other things, he enjoys playing hockey, spending time goofing around with his son or just whittling the hours away with a good video game. He hopes that you enjoyed reading this book as much as he enjoyed writing it, as he plans on adding a slew of installments to the APOKALYPSE series. He also hates editing with a passion, and after poring over this book more times than he can remember, has a newfound respect for anyone with the patience to do so professionally. Props, guys and gals of the editing world. I'll probably get one of you to help me with this, next time.
