About the Book

It is the year 2867, and the discovery of a long forgotten chamber hundreds of feet below the Royal Marine Corps base Sunrise has General Salazar Adderson calling in archeologist and historian Dr. George Bradley to help him investigate it. What they find hidden inside, lost for almost 800 years, is a fully functional cryogenic prison cell holding Colonel Rand McCorrmic. Their lives are forever changed with the decision to free him. With his freedom restored, Rand slowly recovers from his long slumber. While his rare mutant abilities are completely amazing, and somewhat shocking, it's his place in history that has the most importance. For Rand was a member of a very secret, covert Special Forces military group whose actions were mostly unknown to nearly everyone. It's during Rand's debriefing that he tells of his extensive training, the many missions he went on, and of his life. All listen carefully, for if not for Rand and his teammates, the Star Kingdom of Terra would not exist.
About the Author: I personally loath talking about myself, and tried my hardest to get someone else to write this thing. When it became apparent that nobody would, I gave up and decided to write whatever came to mind. Who am I? Well, I'm a son, a brother, a father, and a grandfather. I grew up on a west Texas cotton farm, which forced me to develop my imagination, since my nearest neighbor was a mile away, and my nearest friend was five miles away. I have the best parents a man could ever ask for, and a good loving family to boot. I didn't say they were perfect by any means, no family is. I've worked more jobs than I would like to admit, Cotton Farmer, Waiter, Stocker, Cable TV Tech, Denim Mill worker, Machine Shop assistant, and a Correctional Officer. I like to think that all the various jobs I have worked have exposed me to all kinds of people and all the various stories you could hear. Anywho, I currently live in Western Oklahoma, and would really like to have a cat... and a cookie... oh, and a glass of milk to go with the cookie... and maybe a... Hey wait, not the chair, I'll behave, really I will. Promise. Psst... still waiting on that cookie...
