Jake Lokins is a normal young man living with his widowed mother until he meets Randolph
Meekins, head of the Society of Builders, who introduces him to a new reality. Jake discovers
that his entire history was merely a construct and learns that he comes from a line of powerful
wizards. He enters a world beyond his imagining and undergoes an awakening of his gifts
and a download of magical knowledge. He meets his team of helpers, known as allies, which
consists of a leprechaun, a giant, a faerie, and a shapeshifter.
The powerful forces of the Determiner want Jake and his clan wiped permanently from the
face of the many worlds. To save his mother and to safeguard the planet he has called home,
Jake and his allies transport to multiple worlds where they face human, nonhuman, and
magical foes. Jake must rely on his instinct, his innate gifts, and his team of exceptional
companions to traverse foreign landscapes and life-threatening challenges. The balance of
the many worlds depends on how quickly Jake can embrace his heritage and become the
wizard he is meant to be.
