About the Author: Richard A. Chattick Jr. lives in the Electric City...Great Falls, Montana. Situated along the banks of the Missouri River, Great Falls is home to a series of magnificent waterfalls, which provided the early inhabitants of the municipality with an abundant source of natural energy. The thundering falls had to be circumvented by Lewis and Clark, as they made their way towards the Pacific Ocean. For centuries, Native tribes hunted buffalo along the fertile banks of the mighty Missouri, and on the vast expanse of the surrounding prairie. Today, Great Falls is home to many descendants of the indigenous inhabitants of Montana, and the surrounding region. One of these incredible people was a close friend of the author, and served as an inspiration for the rendition of Renny's exciting adventures. Many of the events in the book, RENNY, have a factual basis, and by capturing the powerful spirit of the author's humble companion, and faithful fishing partner, the fictional tale creates an illusion that complements the story's historical content.
