René Berger was one of the most important philosophers of the twentieth century. Besides a great humanist, he has been considered the first cyberphilosopher. In 1987, he met the architect and composer Emanuel Pimenta and for over twenty years they developed various projects, culminating with an opera inspired by the discussions and experiences on Higgs field and particle. When they met, Pimenta was working with John Cage and Merce Cunningham. Together with Rinaldo Bianda, Berger created the first festival of video art and electronic art in the world, bringing together personalities like Nan June Paik, Bill Viola, Daniel Charles, Francis Ford Coppola, Edgar Morin and many more. In 2015 Emanuel Pimenta wrote "René Berger - Knight of the Invisible" as a celebration of the centenary of his friend philosopher.
