About the Book

Three novellas in one book relate an epic tale of a pseudo family of talented individuals weaving through time and locations. Is existence a series of chances? Is fate determined by a roll of the dice, or do you control where and when you will land? If you could control the roll of the dice, where would you land?
RESET Book One of Three
The cold granite slab slid quietly from the Moon Well. As the four winds blew into the Moon Well the two candelas gasped and relinquished their blue, white light. The relic and Barer slowly emerging into a snow-white fog mist illuminated by a full moon. The construction of the cavern and stone house required all the mystical powers of the relic. The house had to grow from the cliff on a moonlit night.
Sage was old before he was young. As an ancient warrior he knew death and pain better than he knew pleasure. The mere approach of his aura sent waves of panic through his targets.
ALIVE Book Two of Three
The backdrop for this adventure is in The Acosta Valley of Italy during World War II. The hatred of the world is descending on the gentle people of the valley. The Italian government is welcoming the Germans. There was a loud gasp as everyone felt the words sink in like a dull knife through the heart. The trains of time lead the troop introduced in the RESET heroic story to fight to save refugees and themselves.
Santos worked on the "Strada delle 52 Gallerie" what later became known as the Road of 52 Tunnels. Santos knew these tunnels like the scars on his body.
The car was a Mercedes-Benz W31 staff car, with two flags on the front bumper. Seeing the three women in the front of a German truck with a smashed in windshield was enough for him and his driver to pull their Mauser C96's pistols.
The finding of items hidden by time enable the escape of many to Switzerland. Traveling over the Alps, evading and fighting German troops. Caught in harrowing storms and endless caves our group relies on mystical knowledge to survive. Working with Scampi the yellow eyed wolf dog is a joy if you are on her good side. Scampi is intuitive and can read your mind. Scampi can also dismember you with one stroke of her enormous, clawed paw.
DEATH Book Three of Three
In front of the cave a bear like wolf dog guarded the entrance. The head of the dog was enormous. The yellow eyes could stop you cold in your tracks, frozen in a moment of time the razor claws came at you.
Time has been thrown back to Sardinia, Italy during the period of Roman rule over much of Europe. We begin to understand the source of power for the relic, Papa, and Madara. Their roots and knowledge carried forward from an archaic past. An ancient time long forgotten. The knowledge made the impossible possible. We find Papa, a giant of a man enslaved by the Romans. Forced to use his mystical and ancient mason skills to build a tunnel through the Alps.
Papa sprung from the sea floor with his dagger ready. He landed on the back of the shark and lashed out at the eye turned at him. His first blow struck the left eye. The dagger looking like a bloody branch.
On the fifth full moon of the year the moon would lie directly over the alter and shine a ray of pure white light on to it. When this occurred on the fifth day of the month Madara would say her incantations of prayers to the ancients that passed before her.
With Madara and their unborn son dying in his arms Papa's dreams were of the future. With endless portals to travel through he could watch them grow. Time was on Papa's side and as well as he knew it, he wept.
EPILOG
The yearning for this tale occurred in a waking dream just before dawn. As the day wore on the dream cultivated throughout the waking hours leaving the question. Was I just dreaming this or were past lives inventing the characters?
