About the Author: José Enrique (Henry) Figueroa nació en Santurce, Puerto Rico, en 1949. De niño, su familia se mudó a la urbanización Extensión Roosevelt, donde se crió. Estudió su escuela superior en el colegio San José, en Río Piedras, y luego estudió Ingeniería Eléctrica en el Colegio de Mayagüez de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. Ejerció su profesión de ingeniero por 40 años y se retiró en 2012. Comparte su residencia en Guavate, Puerto Rico, y en la ciudad de Santo Domingo, República Dominicana. La Revolución del sesenta y cinco- La Verdadera Historia es su tercera publicación, precedida de Blanco, rojo y azul: Conversaciones de barbería, y de Qué importa uno más: Relatos de una vellonera (Mariana Editores, 2014).
